Pastor Pierucki begins a study of Ecclesiastes, showing that God allowed Solomon unmatched wisdom, wealth, pleasure, and power to prove that nothing under the sun can satisfy the flesh and that the help of man is vain. Drawing from 1 John 2, Colossians 3, Matthew 6, and Ecclesiastes 3 and 7, he warns against loving a world that is passing away, urges listeners to consider that life is short and eternity is certain, and calls believers to set their affection on things above. He also encourages Christians not to let the devil accuse them, reminding them that Christ gave them His righteousness, gives their lives purpose, and has never turned away anyone who came to Him.
