Pastor Pierucki begins a study in Proverbs, working through a handout of verses built around the repeated phrase addressed to a son and what God instructs His children to hear and obey. He deals at length with pride as the reason people will not be taught, warns against trusting works or religious activity for salvation, and uses his own testimony of growing up in this area to show the cost of a child left to himself. Along the way he draws on Mary sitting at Jesus' feet and on years of ministry overseas to urge believers to listen to God and stay in the Book.
