Pastor Pierucki gives an overview of the Song of Solomon, the song God calls the greatest ever written, walking through its outline as a love story and showing its typology of Christ and His love for the church. He explains the picture of the beloved standing behind the wall and the lattice, meaning a saved man can see Christ in the Old Testament only after seeing Him in the New, and he points to Solomon leaving his riches to come as a shepherd as a picture of Christ humbling Himself in Isaiah 53 and Philippians 2. He closes in 1 John 4, pressing every hearer to know and believe the love God has toward them, and testifies of his own salvation, baptism, and the contentment found only in Christ.

“Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.”Song of Solomon 8:6-7 (KJV)
