The Resurrection

Preached on Resurrection Sunday, Jonathan Pennington walks through several passages that testify to the risen Christ, beginning in Revelation 1 where John sees Jesus alive forevermore holding the keys of hell and death. He explains that Christ is the first begotten of the dead, that death has been abolished for the saved, and that the resurrection is documented by hundreds of eyewitnesses. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 15 and the raising of Lazarus in John 11, he shows that the resurrection is not for Christ alone but for all who believe, and closes on the promise that those who trust in Jesus shall never die.
